Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Hong Kong is looking for a talent individual with a strong desire to work in an international NGO to fill the following position based in Hong Kong:
Marketing Officer (Loyalty & Retention)
The major responsibilities are:
  • Design and implement fundraising and loyalty / retention activities, including direct mail campaigns, telemarketing programs and donor events within the planned budget and timeline
  • Implement and monitor donor loyalty / retention programs to enhance donor satisfaction and reduce risks of donor attrition
  • Identify topics, research information and develop English and Chinese copies for fundraising appeals and donor communications
  • Conduct campaign evaluations and analyze campaign data to identify trends and insights
  • Segment donors based on giving behaviors for all donor loyalty and retention programs
  • Monitor the performance of telemarketing agencies and provide training to agency staff in support of the year-round loyalty and retention programs
The Ideal Candidate
  • University graduate
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising or loyalty / retention marketing; experience in NGO is an advantage
  • Strong interest in humanitarian affairs; commitment to the aims and values of Médecins Sans Frontières
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills; experience with CRM system would be a plus
  • Detail minded with strong analytical skills; self-starter; excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good team player
