2022 Colouring Competition

Contest Objective

The colouring competition aims to foster creativity in children while encouraging their imagination, at the same time as broadening their horizons and their understanding of the daily tasks of MSF.

Participants can paint or draw on a colouring sheet of an image that expresses their support for MSF staff. The winning and outstanding works could be exhibited in MSF upcoming activities or be published in MSF promotional materials.

How do I participate(Individual)

  1. Download colouring sheet
  2. Click here and make an online donation of HKD120 or above by 3 November 2022. Please be reminded that even if you make multiple donations, only ONE entry from each participant is allowed, additional entries will be disqualified
  3. After completing the online donation you will receive an acknowledgement email within 3 working days with the details of the colouring competition
  4. Paint or even add drawings that you think are related to MSF on the colouring sheet
  5. Submit your colouring sheet by uploading it via the provided link on or before 10 November 2022

Prizes (per category)

  • Champion / 1st Runner-up / 2nd Runner-up
  • Participation Award (School Category) (The school with highest number of submissions)
  • All entrants will receive an award certificate and a gift
  • All participants will receive an appreciation certificate

Submission Requirements

  • Only two-dimensional pieces of artwork on a colouring sheet are accepted
  • You can use any tool for colouring or drawing
  • Computer-aided design is not accepted
  • For the kindergarten group, we recommend that the work is done with parents, although children can complete it on their own if they like. Primary group should complete the work by themselves

Results and award arrangement

  • The result will be announced at the end of November on the MSFHK official Facebook page
  • An appreciation certificate and donation receipt will be posted in November 2022

Submitting an entry for the competition means that you have read, understood and abide by the relevant terms and conditions of the competition as follows.

 Terms and Conditions

  1. Each participant should submit only ONE entry. Additional entries will be disqualified.
  2. The competition will be divided into two categories, 2 groups in each category according to participants’ grades in school year 2022/2023: Kindergarten Group (studying in kindergarten) and the Lower Primary Group (studying in primary one to three). Kindergarten group can complete pictures by themselves or with their parents. Lower Primary Group shall complete by themselves.
  3. Please provide all necessary information for the work submission via designated link. MSFHK reserves the right to reject any application which fails to comply with the requirement.
  4. All entries must be two-dimensional graphic design. We will not accept entries that use additional materials to create 3D effects.
  5. There is no restriction on coloring and drawing tools. However, computer-aided design is not allowed.
  6. The entry should not have been used in other competitions or published online or in any printed formats beforehand.
  7. All submissions must be original. Participants will bear the responsibility of any copyright issues. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss (including indirect and consequential loss) or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition.
  8. All entries will remain the intellectual property of MSFHK and not be returned to participants including in circumstances where the participants withdraw from the competition.
  9. Submissions shall be deemed as granting consent to unconditional transfer of all copyright to MSFHK. MSFHK has the right to amend, use and copy the entry, and to show the participants’ information (name, school and age) without obtaining prior consent from the participant.
  10. All information requested should be provided. Any missing information will render the entries invalid.
  11. You agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing activities relating to the prize, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. MSFHK reserves the right to use your comments, image and name for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without compensation.
  12. Do not draw or paint any abusive or political content on the colouring sheet.
  13. MSFHK reserves the right to make final decisions about the rules and results of the competition, and to amend the terms and conditions of the competition without prior announcement nor explanation.
Should there be any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
