Senior Marketing Officer

Job Purpose
Lead in the expansion and cultivation of high net-worth donors’ network for MSF Hong Kong. Provide high quality stewardship, engagement and communications to develop and maintain loyalty of donors, aiming to achieve fundraising targets and increase contribution and trust.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Philanthropy Manager to develop and implement fundraising and engagement strategic plan for major donors
- Research, identify and solicit support from potential donors, and to network to identify prospective donors
- Lead MSF Legacy giving programmes and handle legacy donations
- Co-manage top level one-to-one donors in major donor pool
- Perform the due diligence processes and any procedures as required.
- Supervise officers and assistants as requested by the Philanthropy Manager
The Ideal Candidate
- University graduate.
- Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in one-to-one sales, investors’ relations, luxury marketing or fundraising.
- Evidence of strong interest in humanitarian affairs and a commitment to the aims and values of Médecins Sans Frontières.
- Excellent presentation skills with proven experience of public speaking or one to one pitching.
- Strong customer service and relationship management experience.
- Strong ability to manage multiple ongoing projects with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and targets.
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning and budget setting
- Proven experience in events planning, project management or handling legal procedures in relation to estate planning and will execution is a plus.
- IT skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, able to source and incorporate other new IT applications
- Ability to delegate tasks, coach and manage junior staff members.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task, and be willing to assist with tasks outside direct job description.
- Native Chinese speaking.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese/Cantonese (both written and spoken). Proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
- Be willing to occasionally work during weekends or public holidays for special events.
- Work experience in NGO or humanitarian/ aid agency, or participate in volunteering work is preferable.
