Senior Marketing Officer (Acquisition)

Job Purpose​

To execute MSF-HK Fundraising (Acquisition) strategy and take leadership in key projects that aim to acquire new donors and new income source for MSF-HK. ​

Main Duties and Responsibilities​

  1. Actively engage in the planning of the MSF-HK annual acquisition budget, both income and expense; and execute Donor Acquisition Strategic Planning.
  2. Lead MSF F2F Street Fundraising year-round campaigns.
  3. Manage Donor Acquisition channels and optimize the efficiency through constant monitoring. Responsible to explore and identify new acquisition channels, service providers, partners, campaigns and initiatives;  
  4. Initiate and implement fundraising acquisition campaigns in order to raise the amount of donation income under pre-approved or planned budget (expenses) as set in the Annual Plan
  5. Manage day-to-day working relationships with internal and third-party service providers in support for timely implementation of the fundraising campaigns
  6. Work with Marketing Officer on all supporters-initiated events (SIF) application & favour donation campaigns according to MSF-HK guideline
  7. Support nurturing of mass corporate engagement & donations.
  8. Support MSF-HK FR team on new income source development (mass corporates & groups and professional institutions) Support the organizing and delivery of all prospecting activities / donors / organizational events.Keep track of campaigns performance and P/L.
  9. Work in partnership with digital marketing department on fundraising awareness and promotional campaign contents and activities

 

The Ideal Candidate ​

  • University graduate.
  • 5 years working experience in marketing; fundraising experience in NGO sector is an asset
  • Good sense in profit and loss analysis 
  • Strong interest in the mission of MSF and sees the value how his/her marketing experience and contribute to it 
  • Excellent proficiency in written English and Chinese
  • Committed to deliver objectives; results oriented
  • Strong project management skills, able to steer project within the budget and the timeline with minimum supervision
  • Attentive to details
  • Able to work independently but also a good team player

MSF Hong Kong will offer a remuneration package of 12 months basic salary benchmarked in INGO with no discretionary bonus.
