Médecins Sans Frontières first worked in Bahrain in 2011 after political unrest and closed our projects in 2012.
MSF worked in Bahrain in 2011, following political unrest in the country, where we operated a first aid post. The post was closed in July 2011, but an MSF team remained in the country until March 2012, when our staff were refused further entry. As a result, MSF ended activities in Bahrain in 2012.
