Marketing Officer

 

Job Purpose
To assist in the successful implementation of fundraising strategies by providing  support to roll out activities that promotes the work of MSF that  enhance donation generation. 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Content Development: 

  • Create compelling and engaging marketing content across various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website materials, tailor for a diverse range of target audience.
  • Analyzing content performance and staying updated on industry trends to optimize content effectiveness.

2. Program Management:

  • Develop and execute programs to maximize engagement and donation opportunities with existing and potential donors, and community partners, as the main contact point.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of programs.
  • Provide analytical reports to evaluate program effectiveness to identify successes, areas for improvement, and inform future program strategies.

3.Donor Engagement Activities:

  • Implement activities aimed at fostering strong relationships with existing donors, including donor gathering personalized communication.
  • Analyze donor feedback and behavior to continually improve engagement strategies and activities.
  • Identify agencies / partners, sponsors, and volunteers to support the event, fostering collaborative relationships to enhance the success of fundraising initiatives.
  • Identify necessary and capable vendors to ensure the successful delivery of activities within budget, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the engagement process. 

Job Requirements

  • University graduates with at least 3 years of work experience in marketing, sales, advertising, communication. 
  • Experience in marketing and content creation, with a proven track record of engaging diverse client segments and optimizing content.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English languages. Persuasive, with good sense of design and presentation.
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills. Analytical and meticulous with figures. 
  • Attention to details and able to follow schedule and track progress towards targets. 
  • Strong project management skills, able to steer project within the budget and the timeline independently.
  • Strong team player, able to be accountable to assigned tasks and committed to reach targets. 
  • Experience or with passion implementing programs for new segment, and  previous work experience with iNGO/NGO would be an advantage.

MSF Hong Kong will offer a remuneration package of 12 months basic salary benchmarked in INGO with no discretionary bonus.
