Nurse
HKD 870 Per Day
MSF nurses set up health centres, organize and carry out vaccination programs for children and providing pre- and post-natal care to mothers and their babies. They also run feeding centres and may be in charge of the nutritional and medical care of children. They play a multifaceted role in the field and are critical to the success of any medical project.
Many of the countries where MSF works suffer from a lack of nurses. International nurses sent to the field do it all, including providing training and supervision to local staff. They are indispensable when it comes to ensuring these local staff members are able to provide patient care once the training is completed.
A mission for a nurse includes costs for transportation, training, travel documents and vaccines, and lodging.
