The best instrument

A question: Do you know what is the best instrument needed by Haitian people after the earthquake? See the photo. It is the hand powered torch plus radio. And it is made in China!!! As the local staff told me, the torch is for light, while the radio is for receiving news. And more important is, it can give sound to alert to rescue in case there is another earthquake and being trapped under rubble!
