Job Purpose

A member of the Management Team in Hong Kong office who effectively define, develop, execute and evaluate Partnership strategic approaches and plans in Hong Kong, with the objective to build a stronger stakeholder network, build collaborative partnerships and creative campaigns to enable brand awareness and equity, and inspire supportive actions. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Formulate the Partnership and Outreach strategies and deliver the quantitative and qualitative objectives directing to build the solid stakeholder network, diversify outreach efforts to targeted audiences and inspire sustainable supportive actions to MSF-HK.
  • Identify new brands and partners and activate collaboration and campaign opportunities to alleviate brand awareness and experiences.
  • Align and coordinate the digital strategy and efforts across communications, fundraising and partnership departments, and measure the overall digital presence and performance  in the market .
  • Steer, manage and coach all staff under the Partnership Department to deliver the set objectives and within the defined guidelines, policies and regulations.
  • Contribute and actively engage in the strategic orientations and policy/decision making in the MSF-HK Management Team (Executive).
  • Ensure that the Partnership and Engagement processes are in compliance with the guidelines and policies of MSF, as well as the legal requirements of Hong Kong.

The Ideal Candidate

  • University degree
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of omnichannel marketing, business development, stakeholder engagement, public relations and/or events, with at least 5 of those in a managerial/supervisory capacity.  Experience with charity organizations would be an asset.
  • Strategic thinking and substantial experience in contributing to an organization’s strategy; and developed leadership, management and team building skills.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, autonomous in achieving desired outcomes.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and cross-departmental coordination and project management skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions under stress, sensible problem-solving and result oriented.
  • Solid experience in collaboration with marketing and digital agencies in delivering impactful projects and results.
  • Very good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. In addition, Putonghua is desirable.
  • Willing to work overtime and/or on weekends/public holidays when situation calls for it.
