Surgeon

In most projects, being the sole surgeon is always stressful, physically and mentally demanding. You need to carry out all kinds of intervention to save the lives or limbs of our patients.
 
Awien is a twelve-year-old girl. About a year ago, she started to feel pain in her right loin.

While people would imagine the poor living condition in Africa, experiencing it in South Sudan Gogrial is a very unique experience to me. Most of the Sudaneses in the south live in mud huts, locally known as Tukul.
South Sudan, the name of a country rarely heard in Hong Kong. This is where I work for MSF this time. 
 
12 hours flight to Amsterdam, 11 hours flight to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda then 7+ hours of car drive to Bukavu, one of the big cities at eastern Congo right next to the border.
